Building my first PC


Hi folks,


Since I abandoned Project365 on here I have been away learning a few new things and getting a few bits and pieces in place to go forward with aplomb in 2013/14.Updates will appear here as well a s a few things that are going on in my life which may or may not be of interest to the casual observer.


Below are some pictures of a new project. I intend to build a new Home Theater PC in order to do away with 3 items currently languishing under the TV in my living room.
The first pieces will begin to arrive next week so I will document my journey to finished article and post on here.

  2. The prices for these literally change daily but everything above costs around £550. I will swap the stock fans out of the case with 2 new (blue or red) ones after a couple months for 20 quid and add a SSD HDD of around 120gb for operating system at a cost of around 80 quid. Already got a guy at work asked me to build one tailor made for him and am charging him 600 quid which will mean I can buy my fans at least. The beauty of seperates too is the guarantees you get with them, no more sending a whole thing off to be fixed and endless phone calls! :) The thing I really love about my new hobby is making it exact spec to mine or other folks requirements - we are all different after all :) Hope all is well with you and the family Stu *peace*
